Crazy as a bed bug and about the most fun you could have in a three-foot hat, fashion icon Isabella Blow died on Sunday. Here she is with Alexander McQueen from Vanity Fair.

Famous for her love of bonnetry and her sheer English eccentricity, fashion muse and editor Isabella Blow will be sorely missed. She was the woman who discovered Sophie Dahl and Stella Tennant, the visionary who helped Mr McQueen on his way and the person who once dragged a dirty chain - it was part of her outfit - all over the cream-coloured carpets at Karl Lagerfeld’s house. She died on Sunday following an operation for ovarian cancer.

V sad.
:-(
I tend to hate ‘fashionistas’ on the premise that behind their worn-out bitch facade, they’re all scared little sheep who aren’t remotely original and are only too keen to follow the crowd and fit in (see most nights at Ghetto for an example). HOWEVER … one gets the impression that Isaballa would have carried on whether people paid her attention, or not and actually *meant it*.
Apparently they’re doing an autopsy as there’s a possibility she might have poisoned herself
Oh, I was just about to say that.
