Well, for one night during his just-announced 21-night London stint. It’s a hair off!
You see this lady here? Well, s/he’s just announced a 21-night (that’s THREE FREAKING WEEKS!) stint in London’s Glittering London this summer. And unlike a certain Ms. the-’l'-is-silent-Streisland, his tickets are going to cost just £32-odd. What’s more, he’s so obsessed with Amy Winehouse that he’s going to get her up to duet with him…
The residency dans Londinium commences on 1st August, when he’ll start a 7-night series of gigs in O2 before taking his Earth Tour (isn’t that a bit Michael Jackson?) to other venues. Tickets go on sale this Friday and the price - £32.21 is a reference to an album - includes (if we’ve understood this correctly) a copy of his next album!
The concert will dip into a treasure trove of 150 songs that the singer has been rehearsing in Las Vegas, one of which will be Ms. Winehouse’s ‘Love is a Losing Game’. One word of warning, however: he reckons that he’s currently drawing inspiration from ‘the prophets from the Bible’*.
