Geri la Halls – of Geri and ginge fame – has got her own talk show, so says the word on the street.
Geri du Hall will film a pilot episode for ITV, in the hope of it becoming a regular daytime thing.
‘It’s really early days but the idea is that Geri could really get to the heart of issues with her guests,’ says one of them ‘sources’.
Think we’ll be the judge of that.
But could she ever reach the giddy heights of this?
That would be a no.
Ooh, let’s play the game where we act out a conversation Geri might have with one of her star guests. You know, one of those conversations where G really gets to the heart of issues.
Geri: Hello, my name’s Geri, and this is my show.
A famous. Let’s say George Michael: Hello.
Geri: What’s your name?
A famous. Let’s say George Michael: Georgia Michaels.
Geri: Ladies and Gennelman, Georgia Michaels!
*rapturous applause from an audience consisting mainly of geriatrics and those on day release*
A famous. Let’s say George Michael: I’m sorry, do I know you?
Geri: I came round your house, once. I think I’m friends with your life-partner, Kenny.
A famous. Let’s say George Michael: Rogers?
Geri: No, Goss.
A famous. Let’s say George Michael: What, Bros? Are they here? How excitement.
Voice-over: Next week, Geri gets to the heart of the issue with Coleen Nolan, from the Nolan Sisters and Loose Trouts. And television’s Dr. Hilary Jones gives an in-depth report on schizophrenia, from 11.20 to 11.23.
