Eau de Mimi. How can that be a fake?

Can you imagine how excited we felt when we saw this advertisement for a Mariah Carey perfume?

Mmmm, delicious

Imagine it: top notes of drama and self-delusion; base notes of puppydogs and Cristal champagne with the lingering aroma of a career not yet quite out of the woods. We would have bought it. We would even have bought the body lotion. And then we find out that the whole thing is a photoshop fake and that this is the original ad, starring Gisele…. Booooo!

Sniff, sniff

  2. At least she’s not claiming to be the biggest selling female of all time anymore. Perhaps the perfume is being launched so she can pay off the fines she was charged for claiming that a couple of years ago in her adverts.

I hope it smells as nice as JLo Miami Gold, although it must be said the nicest smeling celeb perfume has to be Jade Goody’s one. Sad that.
