Desperado Housetrouts off-of the telly is to introduce a gay couple, it hath been revealed.

Marc Cherry, the real life gay who writes it, has revealed that Wisteria Lane will get its first same-sex lov-errrrrrrrrs like, really soon.

‘We’re going to have the first male desperate housewives,’ said MC. ‘They will move into the old Applewhite house and one of the gay men will just have a fractious, hateful relationship with Terri Hatcher.’

Oh good.

Oh there’s more.

‘We just started writing the episodes so I probably won’t start casting for another few weeks.’

    Here’s betting they’ll be vile queens who adhere to every stereotype going. Desperate Housewives is, after all, the most appallingly glib, trite and farcical-not-in-a-good-way show on TV.
