Word has reached us that this busty lady here is already sorting out details for her big 5-Oh, which happens in the year of our Lord next year. Around about this week, as luck would have it.
Oh, and it’s such a great idea, we’re already trading in air miles.
The idea in question is the following idea: as her Ladyship Madonna will be touring with a new album anyways, she’s had the (we’re not going to say ‘idea’ again) brainwave of taking over glittering London’s favourite New York park (Central Park) to do a humdinger of a birthday concert.
Previous Central Parkers have been Simon and Garfunkle, who did a reunion concert there, and, of course, Diana Ross, who – never mind singing ‘No wind, no rain’ – battled both wind AND rain (and a little riotous activity) when she did two concerts there.
The date will be her actual birthday – 16th August, so expect hot and sticky weather. We officially can’t wait.
