Qu’est ce que c’est que c’est que c’est, Momma?

I'm hungry.

If you look above, you’ll see televisual chef and all round lisping phenomenon, Jamie Oliver, in cartoon form.

‘Ere he is, in non-cartoon form, holding aloft Kerry Katona off-of Iceland ads:

Eat me eat me eat me eat me eat me eat me eat me eat me!

Anyways, he’s been transformed in just such a way for an upcoming children’s animation series – a collaboration between Jamie’s real life production company Fresh One (kerching!) and Aardman Animations, the cheeeeeniuses behind the Wallace ‘n’ G collection.

The cartoons plural will tell the tale of a fictional 10-year-old Jamie and his quest to become a chef. Sounds, familiar… Joining him on his lovely and full o’ fun journey will be a gaggle of strange and ‘citing characters, including a just c-RAZY scientist called Eggs Benedict.

‘I want to pass on a little knowledge in a fun way,’ said the JO. ‘I can’t tell you how passionate I am about kids and food.’

No, but we can probably guess.

The 52-part (‘ow much?!) series will hit our dolly screens, ooh, sometime soon-ish.

The end.
