Mercury Prize winners accuse Amy Winehouse of stealing the show. :-(

Just sittin' on a wall, mindin' me own business...

It’s a sad, sad situation, pop-pickers. The Klaxons – who won, er, it – have got the hump and hit out-not-literally at Amy Winehouse, accusing her of stealing the show from their very selves. You know, the deserved winners.
This is what Jamie ‘steady luv’ Reynolds off-of Klaxons did sayeth:

‘I think it took the focus away from the fact that the Mercury Music Prize is about the music.’

*dramatic pause*

Now let’s watch Amy Winehouse singing a song. ‘Cause singing’s what she does. Something to do with ‘music’… (Oh, and ‘stealing the show’ at the Mercury Awards whilst she’s at it. Good girl.)

  2. So does the woman have to hide away in her boudoir now ’cause she’s too talented and she may upstage everyone? Silly Klaxies.

  7. She’s AMAZING and who would know a Klaxton if they were serving them their burger. Which they probably soon will be.

  8. It would have been better if she could have sung ‘lets fly away’ dressed up as Frank Sinatra.Check out how Robbie, Rod Stewart and Westlife have done so to keep their music careers cutting edge.
