You know how it is. You go out in the morning thinking you have everything you need for the day then you see a picture like this and realise you haven’t even got a baseball bat to hit them with.
This, pop pickers, is Kindred Spirits, the tip for the top this Christmas. A bunch of kids singing choral versions of stuff like Coldplay’s ‘Fix You’. And, as if that wasn’t enough, they even get a ringing endorsement from Myleene ‘No’ Klass, who had this to say about the ‘group’ tipped for the Christmas number one (what, like no one’s going to win X Factor this year?) who will be groomed for stardom and then dropped like a flannel with a skid-mark the minute the last granny has opened her last Christmas present.
But over to Myleene…
‘The moment I heard the demo of Kindred Spirits, I knew I wanted to be involved in the project,’ says the woman whose idea of playing the piano is looking into the camera like someone’s about to come in her face while her tits bounce on the keys.
‘Maybe it’s because I’m a new mum…’ What, tired and with your critical faculties shot to hell? ‘But these children are adorable and so talented.’
As always, we think we’ll be the judge of that.
