Can you think of any way a dirty homophobic schoolchild could deface this poster? No, us neither.

Some people, eh?

Developed with the Right On Sista wing of me-me-me (yes, for real!), these posters, postcards and pencil-case-friendly stickers are about to hit each and every secondary school (that means high school btw) in the whole of Her Majesty’s kingdom of olde England.

Backed up by John Barrowman, gayer star of Torchwood and Dr. Who, the campaign is designed to help tackle homophobic abuse in schools. The message is basically that it’s time for kids to grow the fuck up and get with the programme. Already. For crying out loud.

Donate your time, money and maybe even sperm to Stonewall here.

  1. Oh, it’s cheeeenius. Imagine being 11 at school, worried about being a gay and you see this on the wall. It would make you feel a bit ‘fuck you’ about homophobes, which is about right.

  13. Back to the case in hand – this is a brilliant campaign. Level-headed, realistic, and highly effective. Like a few of you have said, it’s an argument that no-one can come back from – and if they do they’ll quite rightly be shown to be assholes.

  14. So it will go something like this … graf pen at the ready … “SOME PEOPLE ARE GAY. GET OVER IT! …. and then everyone who is a suspected gay at a school will have ‘GET OVER IT’ yelled at them in a poofy voice.

It’s not that I think this is a bad campaign, and it’s certainly a GOOD idea … it’s just that kids are cunts. Always.

  15. Oh … it’s edited some of my stuff … it meant to say ‘SOME PEOPLE called *any name* ARE GAY. GET them to bend over IT! Whatever … I’ve confused myself now.

  18. […] 22. I am curious to find out what blog platform you’re working with?
I’m having some small security problems with my latest blog and I’d like to find something more risk-free.
    Do you have any recommendations?
