It’s not the real Jesus, silly. They didn’t even have decent cameras back in Jesus’ days so how could it be?
No, it’s Joseph Mawle, the actor who is to play Jesus in a new series on Her Majesty’s BBC caught during another BBC production called Clapham Junction where he played a paedophile who gets bummed by a 15-year-old boy. We likethed it not, by the way.
The Jesus series is called The Passion (oh, original) and will be a six-parter playing up to Easter next year with James Nesbit in the part of Pontius Pilate.
Oh, and if you want to see controversial moving pictures from the controversial (and shit) Clapham Junction, just go here. And if you want to see what Jesus looks like, go over the jump…
