Ooh, look at dolly old Nigel Harman off-of EastEnders in 18th Century drag!

Nice bustle!

All our hopes for some nice winter bonnetry are pinned on new Channel 4 series City of Vice starring Nigel Harman – aka Little Den off-of Easties – as an over-made-up male tart!

Set in London’s glittering Covent Garden in London’s not-quite-so-glittering 18th Century (so just slightly before Marks & Spencers opened up on the corner of Long Acre and Neal Street), it’s about Henry Fielding – the writer – as a sort of Georgian super-sleuth investigating the goings-on in them Molly Houses (male brothels) and among the gypsies, tramps and thieves of olde London Town.

So, like a pre-Victorian EastEnders. Set up West. You slaaaaaaaaaaag!

  1. That wig doesn’t suit him at all. Quite the wrong colour.
