London goes Bananas. How lame is that for a headline?

All this could be yours!

Yes, people, one of the best reasons for travelling to America (apart from the boys and booze and the… OK, one of the many reasons) has now been taken away. Banana Republic – think Gap only upscaler – is coming to glittering London’s most glittering Regent Street. Hooray, etc. Workwear problems solved immediately etc.

For those who have not Banana-ed, the Republic (where Jack in Will & Grace once worked, you may remember) is the ideal place for non-edgy, non-cheap-looking (’cause we already have per-lenty of that) clothing, perfect for work/weddings/taking your mum out to ask to borrow money.

It opens on 20th March and will provide the perfect counterbalance to all your TopMans and H&Ms. For which we are grateful.

Jump the jump to see clothing that won’t start any fires but may solve a problem about what to wear at that desk of yours. Yes, that one.

Nice colour Nice colour Nice swing

  1. Yeah, ’cause we really need this shit in London. It’s like Marks and Spencers Blue Harbour only prolly not as well made and five times the price. Enough American imports. Have we no direct links with China ourselves?

  2. Boring as a weather girl but actually quite handy for work. Don’t know how those prices are going to translate into golden coins though. It’s all very well bunging a load of dollars at the lady but when it comes to real money…

  5. Well, I’m quite boring with clothes … or is that classic … yes, let’s call it classic … I like things to be well made, plain colours, no patterns, no logos.
