This gennelman’s name is Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. He hot la hot. Hello.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is in a new show that premiered on Fox in Americaland last night. It’s called New Amsterdam.
Let us explain.
*adopts the voice of James Earl Jones. Or Sean Pertwee, who’s cheaper*
It’s 1642 (oh we remember it well) and John Amsterdam is a nice old chap, and a Dutch soldier in the colony of New Amsterdam (later to be renamed New York. You may have heard of it) to boot. Anways, ’cause he’s a nice old chap he steps in front of a sword for-to-save the life of a Native American lady person during a massacre of her indigenous tribe. So far, so fun. The girl in turn rescues John Amsterdam by weaving an ancient spell that confers immortality upon him. Oh but there’s a catch – he will not age UNTIL (this is the catch) he finds his one and only true love. Only then will he become immortal.
Anways, split screen it’s modern day New York, John’s a NYPD cop (natch), going about his business, and he suffers a heart attack. IT CAN MEAN ONLY ONE THING! That his true love is nearby. You know, ’cause it means he’s, like, mortal or something. So he makeths it his mission to find said one true love. Who could it be? No really, WHO COULD IT BE?
So that’s, like, the show. And this is what Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (snappy) looks like with his top off. Hooray!
