Gav ‘n’ Stace done good at BAFTAs

Hooray for me. Oh and Ruth.

So the BAFTA TVAs were held in London’s glittering Palladium last night and we were delighted that Harry Hill and Gavin and Stacey – or Gavin and Tracy as Paul Watson (who received the ‘Special Award’ *yes, special*) called them, won two awards each.

Winning the award for Best Comedy Performance, an excited James Corden dedicated his award to co-star slash co-creator Ruth Jones, who promptly got all *squish squish* weepy.

Other highlights from the night came in the radiant form of Joanna Lumley who was stunning as per and Graham Norton’s John Prescott bulimia gag. Too soon? Oh well. A very large chinned lowlight came at the end with Bruce Forsyth’s ‘Fellowship’ award. Where are we exactly; Middle earth?
