It is in fact one Patti Boulaye. A Diana Ross wannabe who won New Faces back in the 70s and went on to make the British version of Saturday Night Fever (Music Machine – you can just tell by that title, can’t you?), she has since graced the stage of Eurovision (she was the middle ‘Riverdance’ bit, something about Africa it was) and vocally supported the Conservative Party.
What a great choice for our big day on 5th July, everyone! Oh, and it’s all kicked off by Boris Johnson, esteemed Mayor of London, who once said of Civil Partnerships that if a man can marry a man then why not a dog.
