When SATC met M&S

S'noice

If you thought designer Patricia Fields – off-of Sex and the City and lesbianism – was going to come up with a collection for Marksies and Sparksies (official name Marks and Spencer, aka M ‘n’ S, Marksies or Marks and Sparks: affordable but very high quality clothing and food, the favourite of every mother in the UK, in case you Americaninos hadn’t heard of it) that was all about Carrie Bradshaw, you’d have been wrong. Oh-ho yes. Very much so.

Looking at the footage that’s just gone up on the M&S website, you can see that there is a fair amount in there that wouldn’t look amiss on Samantha. Like this bottie-hugging number.

Have a gander at some of the collection, which goes on sale the week after next, plus an interviewette with Ms. Fields for yourselves by clickety-clicking here

  4. Does anyone actually walk like that though? You know, for getting from place A to place b when not on a catwalk?
