King Henry VIII, who knew?

Some terribly boring historian by the name of David Starkey (who?) has very publicly said that ‘The Tudors’ has brought shame on the BBC with ‘its ignorance of the facts.’ Apparently much of the costumeage was Elizabethan, and much of the series a portrayal of ‘terrible history with no point.’ Who knew?

We’re afraid to say that Starkers hath offended us deeply, because there are many aspects of that highly historical and accurate programme that we happen to admire. Here are two of them, with pictorial evidence.  Career change, anyone?

'Tis Henry Cavill

Look at the arms on it

Ooohhhhhhhh

A Starkey a gay too! You’d think he’d have more class than to criticise JRM, I mean, look at him.
