Zaha Hadid, the architect who seems to ignore the rules of feasibility, has collabo’d with Lacoste on a range of *checks press release* trainers. Which is nice if you want your feet to look like the 2012 Aquatic Centre. The deal is, they’re like a skin on your hoofs, with the shoe expanding and contracting to adapt to the shape of the feet. A bit like a veruca sock, then. Or, to quote Zaha her verily self, it’s all about ‘the evolution of dynamic fluid grids’. See, told you.
The collection will launch in two phases – the first 1,000 pairs being available in selected stockists from March 2009 and the rest, well, later. May, if we’re being all pedantic.
*makes a note of that*
