Chariots of what? Introducing the most successful British film, like, ever!

Here we go again, right?

Now, we like a laugh as much as the next person (maybe even more than the next person depending on who that next person is…), but would you Adam and Steve it (that’s cockerney rhyming slang for ‘believe’, btw) Mamma Mia is not only the biggest grossing British film of all time in the UK, but has just become the fastest selling DVD of ALL TIME – and that’s, like, ever – outselling Titanic by 50%. It apparently shifted nearly 1.7 million units in in one day yesterday, with ASDA moving one every ten seconds!

We are aghast… It was alright, but honestly, people…

One comment to “Chariots of what? Introducing the most successful British film, like, ever!”

  1. Who are these people going to the cinema to see it and buying the DVDs? Surely The Business was the best British film ever made? Danny Dyer and Tamer Hassan running around the Costa del Sol in skimpy Sergio Tacchini shorts certainly knocks Meryl and Pierce into a cocked hat.
