Ding dong merrily on high.

So we were this close *draws small line with scarlet lip pencil* to sending out Christmas cards this year, with a pictures of ourselves instead of a snowflake or Santa or a comedy soft-porn something or other with baubles on it, in the manner of royalty, politicians and Julio Iglesias. The latter of which we told you about yesterday. If you weren’t paying attention, he’s a gennelman of impeccable e-Spanish manners and always sends us a Christmas card. This year it’s a lovely picture of him and his kids on the beach. His younger kids. Enrique’s flown the nest. Julio has, if you didn’t know, 172 children or thereabouts. He was doing the mulitiple children thing long before Bralina were doing it. By whom we mean Brad and Ange. We refuse to say Brangelina. It’s so Grazia. Bralina also sounds a bit like praline, which is frankly never a bad thing.

So, yeah, we decided not to do it. Send out Christmas cards that is. [Segue: Perry Homo’s ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas’ just came on Terry Wogan’s show on Her Majesty’s BBC Radio 2. We have Perry Homo’s Christmas album. We think it’s called A Very Perry (Homo) Christmas. We like all of them on there, except ‘Little Drummer Boy’, which freaks us out because of the Moors Murderers thing. You know, that tape, bad things, to a soundtrack of ‘Little Drummer Boy’. It’s just never been the same since Momma woke us up by shaking us in the middle of the night, aged 6, just to tell us that humdinger of a fact of criminal history.]

Our point? RuPaul has done a Christmas card, dragged up as both the Obamas senior. So, like, Michelle and Barack. It’s really rather good and terribly convincing. It’s also a plug for RuPaul’s new show. Which we hear is good though we haven’t seen it. Not even a snippet.
