Just a leopard-print leotard away from Victorian strongman, we give you the delish Tom Hardy as Bronson. In a trailer and everything.

Very Village People

You’ll know him as Bill Sikes in that version of Oliver Twist on ITV. Or maybe as the gay gangster in Guy Richie’s Rock’n’rolla. Or perhaps even you’re looking forward to him as Heathcliff out on them wiley windy moors in the new Wuthering Heights… But you’ll never forget him as the official most dangerous man in the British penal system (that’s penal, not penile), Charles Bronson.

Already being called a Clockwork Orange for our time (love the outfits in CO, don’t you? There’s something hot about a tight white pant, a bowler and all the make-up that MAC can make around the eyes), Bronson – the Tom Hardy movie (lovely chap, btw. Gave us his number and told us to call him anytime. But not like that) – looks like our favourite film of the year going by the trailer. And it’s only January the something.

See it, why dontcha? Over the jump…

  4. a) Wot no mention of that gaytastic “It’s a Sin” b y the PSBs on the soundtrack?

    b) Wot no mention of his playing the young (and evil) version of would-be-silver-if-he-had-any-hair-fox Captain Jean-Luc Picard?

    c) Wot no neck?
