Oh, look who’s going to be wearing a dress and high sandals out in public!

Lady!

And not for the first time, we bet. Only this time it’s for money of the cash variety!

Yes, gentle West End theatregoer, John Barrowman has signed using no doubt a very fancy fountain pen – Mont Blanc, maybe. Perhaps a Dunhill – to play Albin in the genius musical La Cage Aux Folles.

From 14th September until 28th November, La Barrowman off-of Dr. Who and Torchwood and gay, will be slipping his large size feet (know what we’re sayin’?) into sling-backs previously sported by Graham Norton when he plays the nightclub hostess-cum-adoptive ‘mum’ in the Menier Chocolate Company production of the show based on the film which we j’adore. And no, we don’t mean Birdcage.

  1. Even just hearing the title Birdcage still makes me depressed. And I’m a very happy person.

  3. I wonder if we’ll be able to see the outline of his cock in the frocks!
