So imagine we’re here – where these pretty mots are – and Madonna’s there. Where her picture is. That’s how far away from one another we were on Friday at her ‘friends and family’ gig at the O2. (We’ll tell you later who we had to bum for that one.) It was rather special, and not even of the needs variety. She was three hours late meaning by the time she emerged we were that pissed we could barely breathe, but actual Madonna spittle landed on us at one point so, you know, swings and roundabouts and dual carriageways.
Couple of FYIs: Her Michael Jackson tribute was really cute. There’s a video of it over the bump (not that kind of bump. Pigs) from Saturday’s concert (we were far too twatted to film on the Friday), and Jesus Luz’s clan looked like the Sylvanian Family. Very small, very brown, very cute and some in peasant costume.
