‘All we really want is to look good naked’? Good luck with that, Rob.

Your body, my body, everybody move your body

It’s with mixed emotions that we welcome Robbie Williams back into the fold. He may be a bit of a twat but at least he’s not Take That (it’s a mantra, that’s why it rhymes).

His new single, ‘Bodies’, is almost with us: the video drops (do you like ‘drops’? Very Perez) next Wednesday, as in 9th September but we have a cheeky first listen-type thing (unless you’ve already heard it on the radio, that is).

Our verdict? S’alright. Remarkably catchy and very Trevor Horn (guess why?) and a country mile and a half better than any of that Take That twaddle which is like a compilation of songs that have done quite well for other people in the charts with Mark Owen’s horrible voice over the top.

Listen to new Rob o’er the jump…

  1. I’m no fan but I think it’s a rip-roaring success de scandale!
