Mariah’s back in soft focus with soft rock, a choir, notes that can open garage doors…

She wants to know so tell her!

It’s shaping up to be a very interesting autumn/fall season for Ms Mariah Carey. Not only has she got a very good part in a very good film coming up, but she has reverted to a model that has always worked overtime for her: the power ballad based on an 80s soft rock number with a big choir and lots of notes so high only dogs can really appreciate them.

Yes, you can say it’s not very original and that it’s the easy way out but if there was an emergency, wouldn’t you want the easy way out? And we think that the new album is probably an emergency, so we will be helping her down the escape in six-inch D&G heels and a dress she can’t move in hoping against hope that she makes it before the whole thing blows. Listen, she’s even taken some make-up off so you know it’s serious as a heart-attack when the doctor’s earning so much money in a private practice he can’t be bothered to attend to you.

Hear that song here and just see if you can resist punching the air…
