The lastest to think she can go her own way (there’s a Fleetwood Mac song in there if you’re paying attention) is Amelle, the nice newish one off-of Sugababes, who, in the wake of her number one with some rapper, has decided she has a glittering non-Top Shop checkout girl career ahead of her. She’s signed with Jay-Z’s label and, just as they are about to release a new album, has flounced out, Kerry Katona-style.
In her place, and this is even more retarded, is Jade Ewen. Yes! Off-of Eurovision! The one apparently putting together a solo album of tracks by the likings of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren!
Wonders they say will never cease. Golden Wonders, on the other hand, always cease eventually.

From a very reliable insider source: Amelle is NOT leaving the Sugababes … but the above scenario WAS used as “a threat to keep her in line.” Mind you, that doesn’t really work anyway, as Amelle has a solo record deal on-hold with the same label {that’s no secret}. I hope it all cools down because I really enjoy & prefer the Amelle/Heidi/Keisha line-up — certainly vocally. The long & short of it is: Amelle & Keisha are not getting along right now. A slightly more gossipy source tells me Keisha t’inks she’s Miss T’ing and needs to be taken down a notch.
