Angela Lansbury and Catherine Zeta-Jones (pictured below) star in A Little Night Music on Broadway. Hooray!

'Send in the Clowns'

In what is sure to be the hottest Broadway ticket this Christmas, Trevor Nunn’s production of A Little Night Music will star Lansbury off-of ‘forever old’ as Madame Armfeldt, while the Zeta-Jones will be taking time out from tolerating Michael Douglas to make her Broadway debut as Desirée Armfeldt, in Steven Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler’s classique.

CZJ said of the role, ‘I look forward to starting rehearsal with this extraordinary group of people and working with the incomparable Angela Lansbury, whose work I’ve long admired’

We hear you, lamb, we will also be glued to our sofa this weekend for the Murder, She Wrote special on Alibi. Guilty pleasures and all that.Jump the jump for the all the vitals on tickets, andcetera.

Tickets can be purchased exclusively by American Express® Card members from Wednesday 30th September 30th and won’t be available to the general plebby public until 17th October.
