There are very few occasions in life in which the use of an emoticon is justifiable. This is one of those occasions. The emoticon we want to use hasn’t been invented as yet, so instead we shall stick with a classic… ;0)

That's our girl.

Liza Minnelli… j’adore.

Oh to live in a world where you can look in your full-length, see this, and be utterly content.

This is Liza Minnelli off-of literally gotten away with wearing a roll of wrapping paper from Paperchase, at last night’s New York premiere of Sex and the City 2. Also going by the name of SATC2. Which is actually harder to say than Sex and the City 2. It’s easier to write, but harder to say. Easier to write, harder to say. Say, write. Saywrite. SW.

*places head on desk*

Needless to say, all of today’s papers have led with a ‘Sarah Jessica Parker steals the show’ bollocky piece of bollocks, because Sarah Jessica Paker wore something in yellow that caught in the wind. You’ll see what we mean after the break. At which point you’ll find a picture of all the girls (all the girls. Honestly) lined up for a group shot. In no particular order, we think Kim Cattrall looks the best. That’s because we’re so Samantha.

It’s the London premiere on Thursday. We’re going, but we’re not going to mention it because that would just be showing off.

Oh, and in case anyone’s wondering about the other rare occasion when the use of emoticons is permissable… It’s when dealing with ESL shags (English as a Second Language) who don’t understand British sarcasm, get the hump because they’ve misunderstood a text, and you have to respond with an explanatory emoticon. Which totally defeats the object of your wit in the first place. Honestly, don’t they teach irony in school anymore?

  4. Liza can do no wrong. It’s all wrong, but she does it so right.

  8. Liza looks good — in a way — but there’s something a bit “I beat down Chris Lowe from the Pet Shop Boys & stole all of his Issey Miyake” about it. Cynthia Nixon looks smart — she usually does. I like ‘er! As for ESL texting confusion & drama, I know all about that — unfortunately!
