  2. This is exactly what I’m talking about. Why are all these kids killing themselves? This sort of bullying and attacking has always existed, a lot worse in the past too, when homophobia and racism were more prevolent, so what’s with the new trend of suicide? Is it the internet? To much information and assistance? I’m concerned the more it happens and the more it’s reported on that kids are becoming desensitised and suicide is becoming something considered to be normal. Bless Ellen for her choking back the tears and telling us it’s unacceptable and everything, but what does this achieve?

  3. It’s a tricky one.
I don’t think more people are killing themselves (though don’t quote me on that), it’s just we are more aware of it.
Though it is true that gay kids are four times more likely to kill themselves as their straight counterparts, because they are so hated upon.
This is why, when people (like our Prime Minister) fawn over evil cunts like the pope, it sickens me to the core. The pope is a hate-enabler who encourages the mistreatment of gay people by telling his retarded followers that being gay is wrong. The stupid people hear and believe this repellent message, which in turn justifies their bullying of gay people.

  4. According to stats the rate of suicides between 15-24 years olds has tripled in the last 20 years and this year has seen an 8% rise alone, which is the biggest rise in one single year for 15 years. So I guess this really is becoming a bigger issue by the minute. I don’t have teenaged children, but if I did I would be very aware. Again, according to stats 8 out of 10 suicide victims has sought some sort of help via a doctor, or teacher just before commiting suicide. Worth thinking about.
