The coalition: putting the ‘n’ back into ‘cuts’


Here we go, everyone. It has been revealed, before it’s been announced (that’s tomorrow), that the government is set to cut a cool half a million public sector jobs.

Yes, 500,000. Which is quite a lot when you think the current number of unemployed according to the National Office of Statistics (yes, research and everything!) is less than two and a half million. That’s 2,500,000 in number form.

Tomorrow is going to be fun for a lot of people!
