Once in a blue moon, the baby Jesus comes. Also, you get an advert that is like crack cocaine. Ikea’s Kitchen Advert is just such a thing. We also find pastel boy attractive in the bumming sense of the word. He is able to carry off light shades – top to toe! – in a cocky manner, without slipping into obnoxious. The backing singers are also fun. The kitchens are shiny, and the last time we found ourselves in the kitchen at a party, we were being noshed off by something with a beard whilst the boyfriend was next door playing a guitar. Which happens when your boyfriend’s a pretentious wanker and plays guitars at parties when all the people want to do it get twatted and noshed off. Some people just don’t deserve friends!
So not only is that a warning to anyone thinking of taking up music, but it is also something else entirely.
And after the break, you’ll find the Ikea ‘You’ll Always Find Me In The Kitchen At Parties’ advert, long-play version.
And in an educatative move, after that we bring you the original by Jona Lewie off-of Stop The Cavalry off-of Our 47th Favourite Christmas Song version.
