Lady Gaga, seen here in sensible beige shoes (smart for town!), has released details of her new album. Oh, yes! It is to be called Born This Way and it contains – according to one of our saucies: and, like Lady Wikileaks, we never reveal our saucies – a lot of very political stuff about being gay and being who you are and not being who someone else is and living the dream and living the life and… you know, good stuff!
The sound, again according to our saucie, is a bit retro, almost with some 70s rock vibes to it. The title track is based on a speech Lady G made on gay issues and is, whether she knows it or not, the title of a very early gay disco song famous by gay singer (how many times can we get ‘gay’ in? Shall we have a sweepstake?) Carl Bean who is now a famous gay archbishop (mind you, he probably bought it off the interweb). He was on Motown. Gay.
We think it’s out in May (her Tweet was very cryptic) but, in the meantime (and we know you might have heard a snatch *giggles* of Born This Way on the recent/ongoing/neverending Gaga tour), why don’t we hear Carl Bean’s I Was Born This Way? Hmmm? Altogether now, ‘I’m happy, I’m carefree and I’m gay… I was born this way’… Over the jump!httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDiRSv2wFi4
