Yes, this one. Common as muck and yet a Baroness. And a bigot. And today giving a speech (which was leaked to The Telegraph – now, how does that happen?) about how bigoted we all are when it comes to Muslims. How it’s casual Islamophobia with the Chardonnay at posh dinner parties, how we shouldn’t break Muslims up into ‘moderate’ and ‘extreme’ because they are all Muslims and all believe in the Lord Baby Gee. No, sorry, the other one. And how… well, a lot of other terrible stuff is going on. Though obviously not as terrible as someone high up telling minions that gays deserve to be stoned to death as happens in some mosques. Obviously not that bad.
And Mrs. Warsi will also blame “the patronising, superficial way faith is discussed in certain quarters, including the media” for making Britain a less tolerant place for believers. If anyone can let us know how to speak without being patronising about people who believe there are fairies at the bottom of the garden, please get in touch.
Anyways, when it comes to picking out Muslims for special prejudice, we won’t have it in the house. We exercise – and enforce! – a strict policy of treating everyone who believes in God, of whichever flavour, as the numpty they are. You see. Equal opportunities in action, that is.
Islamophobia is unacceptable says this nice woman who once ran an election campaign on a ticket that an equal age of consent for the gays meant 'allowing schoolchildren to be propositioned for homosexual relationships' ,
