Cash-strapped Britain should find the money to launch a full inquest on the disappearance of Madeleine says Kate McCann

Kate, who appeared on Daybreak with a new shorter, blonder hair do – Kicky! Fresh! Summery! – has called on David Cameron to set up an official inquiry into the daughter who was abducted while she and her husband were out getting giddy on the sangria with some friends.

In a moving publicity stunt, sorry, open letter to the Prime Minister printed in today’s Sun ‘newspaper’, she asks that a top-level investigation is launched. ‘It is not right that a young vulnerable British citizen has essentially been given up on,’ says the woman who slipped out for dinner while her three small children slept in strange beds in a strange country. ‘This remains an unsolved case of a missing child. Children are our most precious gift.’

Top tip: when on holiday, put precious things in the safe. Or get a babysitter!

Sign OUR petition for these two to shut up and get back to work.

  1. They’ve got the ‘despair’ look down to a T. Hours in front of the mirror practising.

  2. Wonder what they’re doing with the money they got from selling her to the gypsies? Used to have an ounce of compassion for them but this is beyond reason. Tabloid trash, officially. Guess it sells books, too.

  4. Can you imagine how differently this would have played out if it was a single mum from glasgow who was on holiday in magaluff and popped into the room next door to have a beer?

  5. What was equally offensive and annoying was her demand that the government ” face it’s responsibilities” – unlike a mother who was out on the piss that night….
