His name is Charlie Williams, he is in a Broadway (or Off-Broadway, or Round-the-Corner-From-Broadway, or Short-Subway-Trip-From-Broadway) show called Memphis and last night he joined the Broadway community to earn top dollar – a cool million of them – for various AIDS charities. By getting his clothes off.

It was all part of the excellent Broadway Bares project where stars of stage not screen show it off and even work the crowd for dollars. If only more charitable events were this way inclined we might find ourselves a little more generous with our donations…
