Today is Burns Night. Or tonight is Burns Day. It is a day of night celebrations of a Scottish ilk, owing to the fact that is the anniversary of Robert Burns’ birthday. Robert Burns was a poet, and didn’t he know it. He was also a Scot, believe it or not.
A typical Burns Night – some call it a Burns Supper, but then they would – consists of haggis (a horrible kind of thing), Scotch whisky (goes well with water. Or without) and recitals of Burns poems. Can you just imagine the latter.
And in celebration of Burns Night, we bring you a picture of Darius Danesh, in a kilt, with his Scottish entrails hanging out all over the place. It is not altogether savoury that he is kneeling in front of a young girl wearing a rather louche boob tube, but then he wasn’t to know. He’s Scottish!
