In former times, a person who looked like the above – or like Nick Jonas if you want to get into specifics – would be pitied. Bullied even. Laughed at certainly. What with the geeky face, the Christian beliefs and the entire lack of anything resembling talent, charisma, sex appeal, style or nice hair.
Now he is held aloft as someone we are supposed to be interested in, attracted to even. These are the times we live in.
