Here is Lil Scrappy, named after Scooby Doo’s sidekick and someone’s nan called Lil. He is a human doodle pad. Oh, and a moron. Oh, and a rapper. Which is often the same thing.
When asked in a recent interview about the coming out of fellow rapper Frank Ocean (no, us neither, but good on him), he said, ‘For the coming out gay I’m glad he came out so that all the real women that love to mess with real men…’ Loving it so far, right? ‘… We can keep the AIDS situation down.’ Because straight people – especially black straight people – don’t get AIDS, right? They might have something to say about that in Africa, but far be it for us…
When asked to elaborate, Lil Scappy – or Lileth to his friends – said that being gay was a ‘gateway’ to AIDS. ‘Scientifically’.
And like all big men, as soon as he started getting pulled up on his, erm, ideas (and the fact that they may affect his ‘career’), he went direct to Twitter to say, and we quote, ‘I dnt have a problem wit gay I just dnt do it an i also said scientifically because its proven,we was talking bout 1thing not other gates.’
So, there you have it. Obviously rap’s gain was academia’s loss.
Would you take seriously what a man with a small child tattooed on his chest had to say about the gays?,
