David Cameron, you utter, utter, utter, utter, utter, utter cunt.

This is not news, people. That David Cameron is a cunt. What is news, however, is that David Cameron – our Prime Minister – has linked paedophilia to being gay.

During an interview on This Morning *checks notes* this morning, David Cameron was discussing the suggestion of a child abuse ring in the highest echelons of the Tory government during Margaret Thatcher’s tenure. Talking of cunts, etc.

Without even a second’s thought, this is what David Cameron – our Prime Minister – said:

‘There is a danger if we are not careful that this can turn into a sort of witch hunt, particularly about people who are gay.’

Some people will think we’re nitpicking. Maybe we are, maybe we’re just making a very valid point that our Prime Minister has admitted on national television that, subconsciously or otherwise, he associates paedophilia with being gay.

Interesting that he doesn’t fear a witch hunt against straight people – because, we hate to break it to you, David Cameron, but the overwhelming majority of paedophiles are heterosexual. You know, like Jimmy Savile – just against the gays.

This, ladies, gentlemen and undecideds, makes him an utter, utter, utter, utter, utter, utter cunt.

  1. Not that I care either way about Cameron, but having watched the clip, he seems to be acknowledging that people have the wrong idea about the gay/paedo connection and he’s trying to make sure those conclusions aren’t drawn?

  2. Hmmm…. Possibly. Maybe even probably. But you need a lot of context to excuse what he said.

  3. He is a cunt, though. Can’t argue with that.

  4. I see a lot of people are now defending him on Twitter etc. I think at the very best it was unfortunate wording of his fear that gay people might bear the brunt of idiots’ bigotry…
BUT, if this is the case, he absolutely should have qualified that during the interview and said that the very idea that people might point the finger is homosexuals is heinous. Unfortunately, he didn’t. Which makes him a dick. But then we know he’s a dick.

  5. Of course, I have no real evidence to support what I’m going to say, rather it’s just my gut feeling:

I think that Cameron did not mean to associate paedophiles (such a difficult word to spell, and I know I spelt it wrongly) with gays, rather he was trying to make the point that, he FEELS some people are doing so. Hence him saying that.
I know it did not come out right.

I wonder… who the are the on that list. I mean, perhaps Cameron, having seen it (if he did.. did he look at the list?), recognise many of those on the list are gay? Therefore he said what he said to make a point that the association is not fair.

Unfortunately, in isolation, what he said came out wrong, or rather, could be interpreted in a different way to what he intended to say.

    I don’t know… just my feeling.

  6. Totally agree with Tim. Tabloids have done a good job over the years of blurring the lines between homosexuality and ‘perverts’ and child molesters and Cameron was speaking with reference to that.

I’m more outraged that Phillip Schofield of all people has the cheek to try and out someone…
