This man is a sportsman. No, us neither. Asante Samuel? Atlanta Falcons? Cornerback? Does any of this mean anything? Anyways, he is commenting on the coming out of Jason Collins, no relation to Joan or Jackie. And he doesn’t like it. Not even with that hair.
‘Straight people are not announcing they’re straight,’ he said on TV (listen, it’s sunny outside, we’re gagging for wine and it’s only just gone 10am, so don’t get us bogged down in research). ‘So why does everybody have to announce their sexuality or whatever?’ We’re not sure about ‘or whatever’ but as far as sexuality is concerned, it is assumed that you are straight until you announce you’re not. Which is what Jason Collins’ coming out was. Saying ‘I’m not straight’.
‘You know, what they prefer…So that’s just how I see it,’ he carried on, obviously in training for the Oxford Debating Society.
‘That’s my opinion on things’, which is kind of what we assume when people, you know, say something.
‘All respect you know’: except obviously no respect.
‘I have nothing but respect for the people whoever decisions they make and whatever, but you know, you don’t have to show it and flaunt it like that’, he said using random words strung together randomly. Anyway, we think saying ‘I’m gay’ is not exactly flaunting it. It’s just, you know, saying it.
‘You know what I’m saying’: yeah, we think we know exactly what you’re saying.
And then the real clincher. The one that gives it all away: ‘We have kids out here, too.’
PS. Please stop flaunting that hair.
This man doesn't want your sexuality shoved down his throat. He's straight, by the way.,
