David Shuttleton – when you’re as masculine as he is you can get away with white-on-white – is what is known in show business as a homophobic cunt. You won’t find Moira Stuart reading all about him on the BBC news, however, because he only abuses gay people on Twitter. And as we all know, homophobia, in the grand scheme of misogyny, doesn’t make headline news.
It does here, however.
David Shuttleton – @ScottishTruths on Twitter, which is ironic when this shit follows; ‘Christian (Luke 16:19-31, Romans 1, Psalm 35. Psalm 37:12-13, Matt 7:6).
#Artist. Craftsman. Lecturer. Speaker. GSOH. Cup flowing over’ – is a funny sort of homophobe. Instead of flicking himself off to people much better looking than him on Cam4 like your common-or-backyard homophobe, he takes to abusing reach-out-and-troll gays on Twitter instead. It’s what the baby Jesus would’ve wanted.
Jaye Richards Hill was one of his targets. A lesbian teacher, he took particular umbrage over her support of equal marriage in Scotland.
David Shuttleton, a furniture restorer from just outside of Glasgow, bombarded Jaye with homophobic abuse, via Twitter, owing to his deeply held beliefs. So deep, in fact, that he accused Jaye of being a paedophile and a ‘danger to children’. Because she’s a lesbian. You do the math.
Jaye in turn sued him for defamation. And girlfren’ won!
David Shuttleton, who says that ‘homophobia’ is a ‘propaganda word used by homosexuals’, has now been told to pay £40,000 in compensation plus court costs by the Court of Session, Scotland’s highest civil court.
‘It’s an absolute scandal that homosexuals have got such power in our community,’ said David Shuttleton, whose flyer for his furniture restoration business you will find over the jump. ‘It’s an absolutely scandalous abuse of laws.’
Might we suggest, David, that as well as quitting with the cuntiness, you pick up a thesaurus.
Talking of trolls, meet David Shuttleton. He's a troll of the religious homophobic kind, and he's just been fined £40,000 for the privilege. ,
